Another season of the Scrubs revival has kicked off.
The hit ABC series will once again feature both beloved and newer characters returning to Sacred Heart Hospital for another season filled with humor, and love.
Scrubs first came to the airwaves in 2001 and released episodes for nearly a decade before it ended in 2010. After years of rumblings, the beloved series was revived in a continuation sequel series, which debuted in February 2026.
The revival includes several original cast members — including Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke and John C. McGinley — reprising their roles. In addition to longtime stars, the sequel also introduced new faces, such as Ava Bunn, Jacob Dudman, David Gridley, Layla Mohammadi and Amanda Morrow.
“Scrubs season 2 is gonna be even better than the first,” Braff told PEOPLE in June 2026. “I feel like we all learned so much in doing season 1. So we learned what the audience really liked.”
He further teased, “We learned the tone and a lot of more guest stars will be back for the fans. I’ll tease that. Or we’re booking a lot of their fan favorites as we speak.”
