Worldbreaker debuts on MGM+ in October
MGM+ has set an October streaming date for Worldbreaker. The sci-fi action horror movie will arrive on MGM+ on October 3, 2026. The movie originally hit theaters earlier this year in January. It later became available through VOD and digital platforms in February (via When To Stream).
Directed by Brad Anderson and written by Joshua Rollins, Worldbreaker follows a dangerous fight for survival. The movie has a reported worldwide box office gross of $189,608. World Breaker currently holds a 41% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes and its fan score currently stands at 28%.
The story centers on Willa and her father as they face terrifying monsters known as breakers. The breakers emerge from an underground opening called the Stitch. These large, multi-legged creatures can transform humans into hybrids through scratches or bites.

After their village comes under attack, Willa and her father escape to a remote island. A year later, Willa meets a young girl named Rosie. She secretly takes care of Rosie while trying to survive in the dangerous new world.
However, Rosie eventually becomes a hybrid and attacks Willa. Willa and her father soon realize the breakers are closing in on them. Their food supply is also running dangerously low. Willa must prepare for another difficult journey while remembering her father’s survival lessons.
The thrilling monster movie’s cast includes Luke Evans as Willa’s father, Billie Boullet as Willa, Milla Jovovich as Willa’s mother, and Mila Harris as Rosie. Now, Jovovich fans will have another chance to watch the monster thriller.
Worldbreaker arrives on MGM+ this weekend.
