Jim Carrey, 64, Secretly Weds Girlfriend Min Ah, 32, After Once Saying He Wouldn’t “Get Married Again”

Jim Carrey secretly married his longtime girlfriend Min Ah, 32, during a private Los Angeles ceremony.

The 64-year-old made his public debut with Ah in February with his daughter Jane, 39, and his grandson Jackson.

The Bruce Almighty actor was previously married to Melissa Womer from 1987 to 1995, and his Dumb and Dumber co-star Lauren Holly from 1996 to 1997.

Jim Carrey has tied the knot again at 64. Following TMZ’s report that TheTruman Show actor married his longtime girlfriend Min Ah, 32, during a small private ceremony in Los Angeles, Carrey’s rep confirmed the wedding news to People on September 30. A rep for the actor did not immediately respond to InStyle’s request for comment.

Carrey’s spokesperson did not disclose the date that the couple said “I do,” as well as the L.A. venue or guest list. The Ace Ventura: Pet Detective star has famously kept his relationship with Ah largely out of the public eye since they were first romantically linked in 2022. Carrey and Ah made their public debut as a couple during the 2026 César Awards on February 27, which also marked the actor’s first red carpet outing since 2024.

As Carrey accepted an honorary award during the Paris event, he shared a rare glimpse of his blended family with his daughter Jane, 39, his grandson Jackson, and his girlfriend all in attendance to support him.

“Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever,” he told the crowd in French during his acceptance speech before addressing Ah with a sweet shout-out.

“Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah. I love you, Min Ah,” he continued. The Mask actor closed out his speech with a posthumous nod to his dad, continuing, “And finally, thank you to the funniest man I have ever known: my father, Percy Joseph Carrey who taught me the value of love, generosity, and laughter.”

Carrey and Ah have not confirmed when they started dating, but they were first spotted together leaving a Judd Apatow-hosted charity comedy show in Los Angeles in February 2022, per photos shared by Just Jared at the time.

The Bruce Almighty actor was previously married to Womer, with whom he shares his daughter Jane, from 1987 to 1995. He then wed his Dumb and Dumber co-star Lauren Holly in 1996. However, less than a year later, the former couple got divorced in 1997.

Carrey previously said that he had no plans to walk down the aisle again, despite telling Weekend magazine that he was “happy” with then-girlfriend Jenny McCarthy. “I probably won’t get married again. If you’ve done it twice, you really should stop doing it,” he said in the 2008 interview, per Entertainment Weekly.

Per ABC News, the star gave the rule some leeway in a 2014 interview with Howard Stern, explaining, “I can’t say that I know how I would feel if I meet somebody that knocks my head off. I mean, I can’t make hard, fast rules about the future. But I wouldn’t voluntarily go that way.”
