The Howard Stern Show is now down a co-host after a shock shake-up.

Rahsaan Rogers, who spent 16 years on The Howard Stern Show, announced his exit from the SiriusXM radio program on LinkedIn. Rogers is one of at least a dozen people SiriusXM cut earlier this month after it was revealed that the station's marquee talent would do only one live show a week, and an ex-assistant sued, making worrying claims about the hostile work environment.

"After 16 incredible years with The Howard Stern Show and the Howard Stern Channels, I'm opening a new chapter," Rogers penned on LinkedIn. "I got to interview people I grew up admiring, direct live broadcasts in real time, and mentor some seriously talented producers along the way." It comes as Stern's 'bizarre rules for staff' were exposed in a bombshell lawsuit.

He continued with his message, "Working inside the most successful franchise in talk radio taught me how great shows actually get made: preparation, instinct, and knowing what the audience wants before they do."

Rogers continued, "To everyone I worked with over these 16 years: thank you. What a ride."

The SiriusXM shake-ups come on the heels of the Howard Stern Show fans canceling their subscriptions and the title host announcing the show would be reduced to once a week.

Even worse, several staffers also lost their jobs and were sent off with underwhelming severance packages, according to insiders speaking to The U.S. Sun.

Since the brutal layoffs, the show has undergone many changes, and moving forward, listeners will get just one three-hour episode each week, hosted by the 73-year-old shock jock.

Howard and his longtime co-host, fellow 73-year-old Robin Quivers, started together in March 1981. Together, the two built one of the most iconic shows on terrestrial radio, doing five live broadcasts weekly before agreeing to a whopping $500 million deal at Sirius Satellite Radio in January 2006.

After they became cemented on SiriusXM, their schedule began to dwindle. It started with them going down to four live shows a week, running Monday through Thursday, then it declined to three days, filling the rest of the calendar with vacation time and reruns.

At this time, Howard is on his extended summer hiatus; however, when he returns in September, fans will experience his scaled-down schedule.
