In a new Instagram video shared just days before the ball drops on New Year's Eve, Rzeznik and Takac looked back at some of their most memorable moments of 2025 as they prepare to ring in the new year from Times Square.

The video, posted on Monday, Dec. 29, shows the "Iris" rockers sitting down to reflect on the past year, including their favorite tour moments of 2025 and their "New Year's energy" heading into 2026.

"It was definitely more alcohol-fueled a couple decades ago," Takac admitted. "This time, I think it's just, good wishes for the new year."

"My New Year's energy is hope," Rzeznik chimed in.

Going on to reflect on their previous experience on the Rockin' Eve show, Rzeznik remembered, "We did it 30 years ago when Dick Clark was still hosting it," while noting that the late TV personality was "amazing" to him and the band during the experience.
